All Lighthouse teachers and teacher assistants are EEC, CPR, and First Aid certified and have been specially trained in a developmental phase for one or more age groups. We employ teachers who are Infant/Toddler Certified, Lead Infant/Toddler certified, Preschool Certified and Lead Teacher Preschool Certified. Many of our educators have Bachelor Degrees. We attract the best faculty simply because Lighthouse Learning Center is a wonderful place to work. The teachers manage their classrooms with great creativity and bring the best part of “themselves” to the children. Their greatest asset is their love of children. Ms. Ashley is an excellent Preschool educator and has been with us for over 14 years. She is also Director 2 certified. Her patience and ability to communicate with children is second to none. She prepares our children for Kindergarten and is loved by children, parents and staff alike. Her contributions to our school family are too many to number.![]()
Ms. Theresa is a gentle, kind soul who loves working with children of all ages. She has the patience of a saint, which children are drawn to. She provides children with appropriate educational skills and activities while making learning fun. She has been with Lighthouse since its inception on 3/31/01 and is Director 2 certified.![]()
Ms. Jane has been with Lighthouse going on 20 years! All the children love Ms. Jane because they know she loves and cares about them. She has crazy fun with all our children and is Preschool,Infant/Toddler, and Director 2 certified. She is our potty training guru!!!
Ms. Jane has special bonds with children and their parents and will take time to receive texts from parents after working hours to make sure communication is great between them.
